Please share the hotel name after u check out tomorrow I guess..and do write the reviews for this in tripadvisor,expedia etc etc..
If I would have been you, I would definitely raise this with expedia and claim compensation of a few hundred euros or some vouchers for free nights ..
Lawsuit may not make sense for a few hundred considering the time and effort and I would try to get them to compensate me by regularly following up persistently..
