what time of the year are you traveling? Delta does operates a 76D with lie-flat seats on JFK to MXP.

It looks like for now, JFK to MXP which is flight # 160 is a A332, then it goes to a 763 April 2nd and then switches to a 76D Friday, April 15, 2011 and stays with the 76D through at least the summer.
