This is moot for me, but there are plenty of people with N-fare tickets that would stand to lose an upgrade (and miles, but I'm sure that can be fixed a posteriori).
Well, the lack of upgrades may not prove a lot either, as only L "trumped" N as the cheapest fare class. We also are seeing less upgrades recently with the numerous weather cancellations/re-bookings.
