I'm happy I opened my Chase account last year and got lotsa miles for it.

Even happier I closed it recently and don't have to think about using the debit card anymore.

Will be happiest when Chase has a new checking account opening Continental bonus.

By the way, Tailgater, I resemble your remarks about dead weight cheapskates. IMHO, never paid a monthly fee, never will, is a good motto. @:-) And, I await a Nigerian bank which awards bonus miles before I open an account there.
