I used to live in the condo's beside Young Thailand on Gerrad St. under the Thai listing and the food was incredible. There appears to be another one on Queen St West which is close to your hotel. I was in University at the time and could still afford it no problem. So keep in mind you won't have to pay much to get a lot of great food for your money. Plus it's CDN $

Did you know that if you bring your skates you are across the street from City Hall and the outdoor skating rink? You can also rent skates there as well. For a true T.O. experience I recommend a skate at night on the rink followed by a hot dog from a cart. Mmmmmmm.
