I got silver medallion status through the AMEX-Delta transfer and read what it says a SM gets, but would like to know real world. I have quite a few Delta flights upcoming and would like to make sure I take advantage of what I can.
I dont really ever check bags so thats not a real benefit, from what I have read on here I am not really expecting upgrades from it. What do I do to even try and get one? I get priority boarding correct, and get to beat the cattle rush? And what does preferred seats mean? I have 2 legs this weekend and next where I cant choose seats that are shoing available and was told its held for Medallion members (it wasnt showing on my Skymiles acct at the time) but it still wont let me choose seats even though I am now. How do I go about trying to get to pick a seat - Is there a time line to do this? They are both connecting flights, so I wont be there very early at all...
