Henky is right. Most everyone here is very lucky. In contradiction to many others who exude DYKWIA, henky also recognizes our general lack of utility to society.

I agree with him. The only meaningful contribution that I might make to society must come from activities that are not part of my direct employment, and in the pursuit of which I must invoke my First Amendment rights. I've had to do so recently. But my daily wageslavery doesn't facilitate much.

Anyway, as for henky, some might ask, how is it possible for a BA board member to be self-aware? @:-) That's because there's a good chance henky isn't British

As for BBB, that's right buddy...you have an opinion and you can and should tell it like it is. So should SRG, and Willie himself, he ought to come here and state his case. So too, MOL, we should hear from him. On this board would be best.

When your opinions don't fit the ideological mold, you can expect to have to work harder to defend your right to express them. I understand something of this :-: best in class :-: dynamic as you well know.

Let us remember Voltaire. The pre-Gaullists developed some strong principles of governance, centuries ago, but were then set back by their own Caligulas. Those original principles were - and are - good ones.
