I think the most likely explanation is that you may have inadvertantly clicked on the wrong link and opened the seat map of the 777-200 for which the second mini-cabin indeed starts on row 6. On 777-300, the classic configuration has always been 3-4 and 5-12, and seatguru has always had the right one on that as far as I could see.
