I agree - right now they manage to codeshare on both AA and UA/AC and VS and they have mileage agreements with LH and family on one hand and AA/CX/KA/QF on the other -other than elite status, they give you enough opportunities to earn/burn miles. It would have been nice though to have them in one of the two better alliance - I always thought they'd be a great fit with oneworld given its size and relative quality consciousness.
