I try to wait until the very last possible minute to ask people to turn off electronics because of the frustration I read here. I try to always do the First Class pre-departure waters instead of coming up with reasons not to do them - because of the input I've read here. I try to make my MVP, MVP Golds and 75K guests as comfortable as possible because of the input I read here. My point is - I spend a fair amount of time reading and comprehending what you all have to say here so I guess I'm merely asking that you do the same with my post here as well. I'm just providing my view here. Hope it gives you a moment to consider how the FA's feel when they are blatantly disregarded.
Hi ASFlyer,
I don't know if I have ever flown with you. I don't have an FT tags on my bags.
There are two rules that I sometimes have a problem with. First is the seatbelt sign. If you have to go, you have to go. When you factor in being first on board as an MVPG, delays for various things like a late passenger, busy taxiways/runways, weather, it can be 90 minutes from boarding until seatbelt sign goes off. I have also been on cross-country flights where the sign was probably on 80% of the flight because of occasional choppy air. Something has to give at some point.
Also, when I am in the buklhead, I will wait until the FAs start moving around, and then I will get up very quickly and get my electronics to use in flight. I hate being penalized for being in the first row.
Hope that doesn't upset you too much. I would never get nasty to a FA for saying something, but that is my position.
