Thursday is showing mainly sunny while Friday (the day we do HKG-YVR-YYZ) is forecast-ed to be partly cloudy so assuming we make our 1h 40 min connection at YVR, we like our chances of making it home on Friday evening.
These cnx's always worry me. On a 12 hour TPAC flight, so much can go wrong time wise but I hope you make it home!!!!
You could fly to Dragon Air to Shanghai and make it home on a 777 direct to YYZ
