Agree with all what olm said. Not having a visa (not sure what passport she has) could cause a problem.

But i would not be too worried. I have seen LH people waiting for transit passengers at the gate of delayed flights, take them to a special bus, thru special security (there is an area just for this in the B terminal) and directly to the connecting flight.
