I am planning a trip to Tahiti and Bora Bora, and I am wondering which airline provides the best experience. I flew on Air Tahiti Nui from Los Angeles to Sydney with a layover in Tahiti in 2009. This was only my second experience traveling overseas, and I had a fantastic time! The flight attendants gave a flower to every passenger, and they completely changed outfits during the flight. On the return trip, I was able to upgrade from Coach to Business Class for only $700. The service and food were great, but a traveler sitting next to me ruined the experience by saying how outdated the seats were and that the food was not as good as he had experienced on other airlines. I have read similar reviews for this airline, and although I had a great time, I am wondering if another airline is worth a try. I would like to fly Business class roundtrip for less than $5,000 (currently Air Tahiti Nui Business class is $4,152 roundtrip) Any advice?
