)- I do other things for them as well. (Indeed during the dreadful weather we pulled on to a jetway at LHR which was very wet at the entrance and given the temperature possible quite slippery. Yours Truly got on her hands and knees with cloths to mop it. I am regularly underwhelmed by my Glamour Job.

Anyway, the point of this is that I want to tip you off that there is going to be a change in that ghastly second meal - but you probably know that already. There are also going to be improvements (their expression)
It seems that lots of you out there have moaned like wet drains about it in particular and catering in general. The catering in Club World is under review as there really have been so many vociferous complaints about it - and the paring down of the second meal in particular.
Without going into details it has been brought to their attention by someone who knows what you have had to say about this (wonder who?) that you are getting
very tired of the downward spiral and that when you are paying those sorts of fares you expect and require better. A poxy packet of sandwiches is NOT a second meal in my book, nor it seems in yours.
I cannot go into all the details as it would show my hand - but quoting from some of your richer choice of words (leaving some of the more emotive hyperbole best alone) the point was made. You have no idea how many Crew
agreed - we all of us agreed with you.
After the Long haul has been dealt with then the focus goes to Club Europe as the complaints about the shrinking trays has just gone through the roof. I understand that there is just a salad and a roll and they call that a Band 2 meal. No chocolate, no desert nothing more than that.
The purpose of this is to tell you that persistence pays and something is being done. Whilst I would not tell you to hold your breath I do not think that way that I heard it - the movement is on. I know nothing more than that which I have told you. i know nothing about bird seed as I do not own a canary, and I have never eated the stuff as I do not have feathers (need to be careful here!) and I make a point of not sitting where it is dished out for human consumption (
). I also wanted to thank you for the ammunition and wanted you to know that there are those of us who really are rooting for those who give us their business.
Now that's the business over - I am working on a TFTG on an incident that happened last October - but it is extremely lavatorial I warn you.
