Not to disagree with Lurker, but I would still make sure your SPG number is down, as you should get points for any incidentals charged to your room that you pay for. Our rooms are usually master-billed but I get credit for meals, etc. that I pay for. The hotel should also give you whatever benefits Plt get when you check in. You do need to make sure your name is on the room, and most hotels can split room charges between roommates as well.
