The decision was made by IHG, however, news reports suggest that the decision may be far from final and Neue Dorint is neither happy with the termination nor with IHG going public with the news at this time.

Particularily astounding is that IHG terminated the management contract with Berlin - the contract between Neue Dorint and the hotel owner ends in 2015 anyway.
I wonder if IHG just tries to put pressure on Neue Dorint. Giving up half of its portfolio in Germany is a pretty far-reaching decision.
The company that is "in charge" for the investment fond owning the CGN and DUS properties is also the owner of Neue Dorint GmbH.
