I checked in on 1/27 ... the hotel appeared to be pretty full. I'm an SPG Platinum member, but my plans didn't allow me to stay at the Westin, and the Aloft in CLT is pretty rough.
I love this hotel. I think it's the best that I've stayed in downtown (only better than the Westin due to location).

I generally am a Marriott guy, but the FS downtown doesn't really do it for me. Haven't stayed at the Courtyard or RI.
