Thank you. It looks like my shaper tips shouldn't fall into any prohibited categories, so I think I will take them in my carry-on bag. I already made sure to pack the handle for them in my checked bags (I can replace the handle easily in France, but the shaper tips are specific and they come from the US).

I am a little nervous, this is the first time I am flying with my instruments, my dog and checked bags. Normally I travel very light - my travel rule is, if it doesn't fit in my 35 litre pack or is not allowed in the cabin, it doesn't go at all.
