Are they sharp? They don't look sharp....I believe "tools" under a certain size are allowed (under 7 inches). They don't "confiscate" your tools, you just have to throw them away if you don't have time/ability to do something else with them if/when they demand you remove them from your carryon. If you are worried, just mail them, or take a mailer envelope (stamped) and just put them in it and mail them from the airport if they declare them unacceptable. If you have enough time to do so, you can just mail them then instead of throwing them away if TSA says they cannot fly.
You could also print out the tool rule from the TSA website to show them if they try to remove your items from your carryon. (tools under seven inches in length are allowed)
