I am platinum and made an inquiry regarding the gift basket. The starwood counter rep (separate from main reception) checked her policy manual and stated there was no such benefit.
Club floor? I'm not sure a "resort" property would really cater to a business crowd and therefore would not have a designated "club floor". There were certainly no free breakfast or anything like that.
