I just returned from a 2 night points stay and free Friday at the Puerto Vallarta Westin. What a great property. No gift basket but I was given a beautiful ocean view room, with couch, chairs, king bed (new with pillow-top mattress), dual sink bathroom, shower stall, bathtub and 4 person jacuzzi on the patio overlooking the pools and ocean. Great view of old Vallarta and good gym. Staff was excellent.
One Caveat - they charge for in room coffee and water, and it's double the cost of buying it yourself. This was unknown until checkout and they wouldn't remove the charges. Phones calls also remained on my bill for local calls.
Nice spot to use up some points.
