Similar question: I was trying to book SFO-LAX-HND/NRT-BKK (edit: on the outbound) with a stopover on the return and was told that HND/NRT would count as a stopover. Similarly, I wanted to fly BKK-KIX (stopover) ITM-NRT-SFO (edit: for the return) and told I couldn't do that either.

Should I keep calling back, or is this against the rules?
