BOM surprisingly has an LH lounge. I am sure someone on here has been to the lounge, but as I was connecting onto an AI flight in BOM I obviously would not have been allowed access. Info from LH.com can be found here. There is a sign near Duty Free pointing to all of the lounges and one of the arrows denotes the "Star Alliance Lounge." I also read somewhere that in India even a *Gold needs to obtain an invite at check-in, but everywhere else in the world, even the contracted lounge in RGN does note require an invite, so who knows.
