Thanks for the detailed reply and for sharing your pictures!

After reading your detailed description, I feel that Phi Phi will be better suited for our family, because it is beautiful and quiet. We just like being able to lounge by the beach, play board games and talk and go out for the occasional meal.

We'll be sure to take a day tour from Phi Phi to Maya bay and the other islands around.

Thanks for sharing the cost of the tour too. The HI wants THB 2700 per person for a roundtrip transfer to Phi Phi from Phuket. I think I could get it for less by booking the transfer separately.
