I think it should be a "Z-fare" as that is the WBC "holiday fare". It does have a minimum stay and needs to be purchased 30(?) days before travel.

If the family member of the OP has booked a full-fare economy which is booked into the X-bucket you might find that the Z-fare is actually cheaper for quite a few destinations.
