I have done this once before with AA. No questions asked, no special rules, 'guaranteed' there means trade status and money for a room. As Hilton said, they walk another guest--I would not like to be that guest, but that is what this benefit is.
Now I know that this is a Hilton benefit that I cannot count on...may be there may not.
Wouldn't by definition the use of this benefit be only used when the hotel is full? That in this case the 'fine print' is not really that fine. How would Hilton reword this so people don't count on it? 'guaranteed sometimes'?
Wow, just wow. Your failure to plan appropriately for a major world conference is not Hilton's fault. The terms are clearly stated. You just chose not to believe them.
