Nice post, but I have to disagree on one point. I think the french cook uniforms, including the "bandanna", are fantastic! The fact that some of the flight attendants change outfits mid-air to serve the meal adds a great element of whimsical class to the C cabin experience.
Well at least the uniform works very well the slightly surly uninterested service.
Squint your eyes and you could imagine being served in a Paris restaurant (ignoring the food).
