Well, I decided on the Crescent, and had a nice stay. Checkin went smoothly, even with the clerk (David?) making jokes (usually I'm up for the banter, but I was feeling unusually tired after the flight from Pennsylvania).

I got the room I had reserved, a Club level room with a patio. I asked about an upgrade to a suite, but David told me that (paraphrasing) "this is already a Club room". I assume the late time of my checkin (11 pm) meant that any possible upgrades had already been taken.

Anyway, for $69 (plus tax plus the $5 service charge) it was a good deal and I'll stay there again. Thanks for the comments!
