I have an Acer 1410 11.6" screen with a celeron processor, which is a little bigger than a typical netbook, but not as large as a regular laptop. Will the netbook travel adapter work with my computer? If so, which iGo tip would I need?

My netbook charger:
Input: 100-240V-1A, 50-60Hz
Output: 19V--0.58A 30W
It should work, as the original adapter is only 30 watts (and the igo netbook adapter will supply up to 40 watts). The tips are the question... From another site I saw that the netbook adapter ships with the following tips: 206, 207, 212 and 401 (unfortunately, igo's own site doesn't list this info).

Go to igo's website and check the full model number of your netbook (search in the upper left corner) - there are 4 more digits after 1410 (i.e., Acer 1410-xxxx). I tried a random sampling of the 1410-xxxx numbers and all seem to show a 207 tip which is one of the included tips but there are a bunch of 1410-xxxx models that I didn't try.

The netbook charger is smaller and cheaper -- that's a plus. The downside is you won't also be able to charge a laptop if you get one down the road (laptops usually need 65 or 90 watt power adapters).
