Train stations (that are part of the high speed network) I know of that are far away from city centers:

1) Beijing South
2) Beijing West
3) Shanghai Hongqiao
4) Changsha

1, 3, and 4 were all built within the past 4 years.
In all fairness Hongqiao isn't that far from the city center. While not as close as the Shanghai Railway station, it only takes me 25 min from Jing An District which many consider part of the heart of Shanghai. It takes me just as long if not longer to get to the Maglev station or about the same time Shanghai south.
