No, lounge access is only available to club room bookings. They do offer a THB 1000 "upgrade" option for standard rooms.
Interesting; in my experiences as a platinum, I am given my booked room type (albeit on a higher floor) but get free lounge access. Lounge access is really the only reason why I stay at this hotel. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is great (except for the tiny swimming pool) but there are even better ones in BKK IMO.
