Since you have many FFPs, you know that FB is not a great FFP. My suggestion would be to pay the steep membership fee of a French FB AMEX Gold (if you have a French bank account) and spend enough to get to FB Gold and have lounge access. Plat does not offer much beyond Gold. Then use your other cards to credit miles to another FFP.
I am definitely going to open the FB AMEX. Are there any other branded cards out there that allow you to earn status miles in this fashion? I have a UA branded Visa but that just earns miles you can use for rewards flights. I'd be interested in a card that allows earning of status miles in either eurozone or US. Thanks much.
