I want to fly business class from LAX to EDI. I will be using BA miles. Is British Airways my best choice, or should I be looking at American or other partners? I will be traveling with my wife and infant. Are there basinets in business class? Never done a long-haul w/ an infant before.

Is it true that I have to pay taxes regardless of which airline I use since my miles are w/ BA?

Another factor is I may do an open jaw itinerary and return from somewhere else in Europe.

Any advice is greatly appreciated as this is my first time redeeming miles for business class.
