Just clocked an 8.77 Mbps at a Starbucks on Beverly Drive using my Pantech UML290 on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Network. Just so I can compare to the wifi here at Starbucks, when I use their wifi my speed changes to 1.21 Mbps (there are a lot of people in here right now [6:00AM] though so it would probably be a little faster if there weren't so many using the wifi, but still). I just gave up trying to get wifi from stores because it is never going to be lightning fast (if it was, you would have people hanging out all day, not buying coffee, etc. and just taking up space). At least when I am here, I buy stuff and then leave a tip in the tip jar.
