"Refund per direction possible" is a bit of a scam. It gives the impression that the amount for a single leg as indicated during the booking process of a return ticket will be (at least partly) refunded.
In actual fact, if you attempt to have your return leg refunded, your ticket will be converted into a significantly more expensive one-way, for which you would have to pay extra to cover the fare difference. Since no one in their right mind would want to do that, you will likely end up doing a no-show for your return leg and get no refund whatsoever.
I really wonder how Swiss manages to get away with this sort of deceptive advertising.
