I am based in France for at least half of the year each year, sometimes more. I am kicking myself for not realizing this card offered status miles. Here I am a lowly Silver when I could have been qualifying platinum on spend+flights. Do they charge foreign currency conversion fees when used outside of the EuroZone? That's my biggest gripe with my US AMEX, paying those stupid fees for every charge outside the country.
