Westin Oklahoma City - excellent stay!

Just returned from an excellent one night stay at the Westin Oklahoma City, and can highly recommend this hotel.

Nice things about the hotel:

- Central downtown location, two blocks from the Amtrak Station (we arrived by train).

- Three blocks from the "Brickyard" entertainment center and canal.

- Prompt posting of all relevant Starpoints.

- 15th floor Club Lounge available serving Continental Breakfast in the morning-- one of the few Westin Hotels with a Club Lounge.

- Friendly front desk and bell staff.

- Platinum members are treated well. I was offered an upgrade to either the Presidential Suite (one of two such suites), or to a two room suite (bedroom, plus sitting room via a communicating door). After touring both rooms, I went with the Presidential Suite as it had higher quality furnishings, two bathrooms, a wet bar, jacuzzi, and of course, much more space.

The only minor glitch was that only two of the four lobby elevators had an operable card key reader (required to reach the 15th floor). This meant at times having to "send away" the "wrong" elevator in order to call the "right" elevator.

Overall a great stay. Another reason why Starwood gets my business.
