LAX-PHX on Thurs/Fri afternoon always seems oversold. Also LAX-CLT/PHL at the end of the week. Was on the 11:45am LAX-CLT yesterday, offering $525 VDB voucher...that amount was certainly tempting but I didn't want to wait 11 hours for the redeye...
