We'll be on CX transiting through Bangkok for 75 minutes while en route from HKG to Colombo (on the same CX flight all the way). If we get duty free liquor in HKG before boarding the flight, is it ok to take it with us while transiting through BKK? Or will the security screening at the gate in BKK take it away?

If in fact that's a problem, if we buy it in transit in BKK do they deliver it to us at the gate after we pass through security?

Thanks for advice.
BKK duty free booze is cash and carry.

As for your main question I've no experience, though in a sealed bag with receipt from the same day it might work.
