Please forgive my ignorance and naivity in this forum. I mainly reside in the Intercontinental Ambassador/PriorityClub thread, and we all help each other over there! If we can assist each other with suite upgrade info, or get each other into a lounge, for example, we do so willingly - possibly even limiting our own chances in the process, sometimes.

Just for clarification - I didn't intend to disturb anyone's peace in UC, have a party there with my wife, or to "take the p*ss", or to upset anyone who thinks an empty seat should remain empty because no-one's paid for it. All I was looking for was some good advice and experience on the matter, as I am an UC innocent. Thanks to craz and Deckard for helping me with some genuinely helpful advice, and thanks to all for your input.
