OK, for those who endeavor to send e-mails to reward good service, do you actually ask the FA for their name, or do you simply provide as specific a description ("blond female working in F on AA 1234 on January 27th")?

Too often, the name badge is not visible. In "real life" (not on an IBB), I'm reticent ro ask a total stranger her/his name (the last thing I'd want them to think is that I'm some kind of masher or perv)....
