Is that really called a "Kai Suite" in the room description when searching rates? All that I spotted was something like an "Oceanfront Suite" and a "Premium Oceanfront Suite." Neither mentioned Club Level nor breakfast. I really would have thought that all suites there would have included Club Lounge access. Apparently, that's a bad assumption.
Its not called the Kai suite in the room description, just the Premier Oceanfront suite at 1100 square feet. The hotel told me it was the Kai suite when I called them.
Yes, I realize that it is a bit pricey, but for a family of four I thought one big suite would be nicer than 2 rooms. Remember that this is Spring Break so prices seem to be a bit higher than usual. Also wanted a little "WoW" factor for the family.
The hotel mentioned they had a minimum price for the suites to allow access to the club and my rate did not meet the minimum, hence the $75 upcharge.
Still think it may be worth it as there will be four of us.
