Is that really called a "Kai Suite" in the room description when searching rates? All that I spotted was something like an "Oceanfront Suite" and a "Premium Oceanfront Suite." Neither mentioned Club Level nor breakfast. I really would have thought that all suites there would have included Club Lounge access. Apparently, that's a bad assumption.
I don't think they come up on spg as Kai suites. It may be worth calling to make sure how they classify them. From what I understand the end of hallway suites (don't recall their names) are very large as well just with slightly different views so I don't think they are fundamentally any different.
But $500 is probably a fair price as they are at least 3x bigger than regular rooms with murphy bed in the living room but unfortunately still only one bathroom.
