What I know and what I have heard, as of yesterday.
The opening of T-2 terminal is set for sometime between May-September. AA is still scheduled to move into this terminal along with all of the low cost carriers except Southwest.
I recall the original plan was for Jet Blue to move into T2. But Virgin has been growing fast (now using gates in both
nonconnected wings of the international terminal), and needs additional gates. According to SFO's
website only AA and VX moves into T2 (initially). The website is still optimistic about the opening date, but the info may be stale.
When completed in mid-April 2011, Terminal 2 will be home to American Airlines and Virgin America.
