I had been checking availability on LHR-EZE for several years, because it was the one destination I wanted to go to. Then last august (2010) found 4 seats for this august (2011), flying F to EZE, and C back. I had to be a bit flexible with dates, but it was okay.
THen the change of route to non-stop and the change of aircraft to a 3-class 777 happened. While that meant no more first class to EZE availabilty to both EZE and GRU opened right up, with at least 4 seats in both F (both GRU) and C (both) on at least 4 days in each week. So I changed my booking, flying out in F to GRU and C back from EZE.
So I don't know whether all these seats have been taken, or whether the availabilty has been scaled back - but it was there.
