Is UA capable of firing anyone? Other than liquored-up pilots, I have yet to hear of any malfeasance resulting in dismissal.

What about the FT member who last year had a run-in with some pilot named Perez on a GVA/IAD flight? (couldn't find the old thread, sorry). Seems this pilot had the idea he should be in charge of passenger wardrobe. If there was ever a case for discipline, this was it. And what happened? nada.

With such strong unions these "employees" can get away with murder, and nothing happens.
