Manele Bay and The Lodge downgraded by Frommer's Travel Guide
Was researching S. America at the local Barnes & Noble, when I noticed the new Frommer's Hawaii 2003 edition. Seeing as I'm heading to Lanai in the Spring, I wanted to see what Frommer's take on The Lodge was.
Paraphrased, "we are sad to notice the decline in these two properties, from a spider web in the room, the patio furniture not being clean, the landscaping needing work, seems the management is letting things slip"
Anyone who has gone to either more than once, Have you noticed a decline? In anything?
