Well, now that things besides ilness have come up, I have yet another story.

I was doing a MCO-DTW-MCO run one time and the weather in MCO was absolutely horrendous, we left the gate and no sooner had they pulled the jet bridge than the ramp shut down. DTW was also having weather that afternoon mind you. We sat for 3 hours and then returned to the gate due to this new law in effect (which I personally disagree with, but hey, we argued for it so now we have do deal with the implications). I decided it was better not to chance it so I got of the plane and went home. Turns out flight was about four hours late arriving. I still would've made my connection though because the 540 DTW-MCO ended up leaving at about 4AM.
