It's fairly apparent that most posters to this thread consider the executive level lounge or the club level lounge to be off limits to families. The only problem with this is that these room types are in open availability for everyone to book. So, if they want to pay extra for the privileges in these lounges, they're going to be there regardless of whatever push individual hotels may be making as suggested by the WSJ article.
Instead of making it unavailable to everyone, may I humbly suggest asking the attendant to gain some control over the lounge and if that fails, call Customer Care and file a formal complaint. Certainly at any Sheraton branded hotel covered by the Sheraton Service Promise, this would be an issue that they would be required to attend to
tout suite. If they don't, let us know about it through Customer Care.
