I also agree. I've been in more than one club lounge lately where kids have been running around during the cocktail hour or at breakfast.
I have no problem if they are well-behaved and sitting with their parents... but I cringe at the thought that my hotels might start courting family business over business travel.
If you MUST be family friendly, have a separate family lounge with a kid friendly environment, juice boxes, kiddie snacks, coloring books, etc. But DON'T take away our lounges to do it.
